![]() I had some credits on DFK BL and albeit it was incredibly hard, I found it more motivating due to the incredibly pushing soundtrack and the Reddo mode. Diehard gaming fans of the series claimed the music, composed by Manabu Namiki, Yoshimi Kudo, and Azusa Chiba, for the most part, was unfitting for the DoDonPachi series, while fans who listen to the music on a standalone basis, such as myself, thought it was a well composed. So far I'd call it the 4th best of all DDP games. In early 2009, the soundtrack for DoDonPachi Dai-Fukkatsu was released, unfortunately, to mixed reviews. Those I find oustanding, but DFK 1.0/1.5's sound is a little lame IMO. The soundtrack is also quite disappointing, but they redeemed themselves with the DFK BL & iPhone OST's. Of course there are rules, but DFK has far too much of them to assure a "simple but challenging" experience like in legendary milestones such as DOJ, Ketsui, Ikaruga or ESPGaluda. Sometimes cancelled bullets are added to my combo in Boost-Mode, sometimes they are not but in Normal mode. ![]() I never have the feeling to know 100% what is happening. Steam: DoDonPachi: Resurrection Released 14th October, 2016 Degica published this game as Resurrection on Steam in 2016 which brought together all prior game modes: 1.5 (both Normal & Novice), 1. There is so much going on and the entire bullet-cancel/range stuff goes on my nerves. Anyway, I don't find this game anywhere near the quality of Daioujou/BL or even DoDonPachi. I currently play on Power Mode which I find fairly challenging - compared to the super easy (to 1CC) Strong & Bomb configurations.
